Florecer Consultancy
We are Florecer. A collective of queer, feminist women who have gathered from the red earth of Africa, the ancient cedar forests of South West Asia and North Africa, and the broadleaf evergreen jungles of Central America. Rooted in the majority world, we offer an approach forged by our lived experiences.
Across time zones and mother tongues, difference and distance, something unexpected bloomed between us: a friendship. And from that friendship, Florecer was born.
Florecer is a transformation and development consultancy collective. Our work originates from a place of authenticity and creativity. We believe that how we work is as important as what we produce. Relationships and nature are at the heart of our craft. Everything we do is built on our desire to contribute to a more just society. Our approach is grounded in collaboration, and we believe that diversity is a living, breathing source of insight and inspiration.
We build project teams tailored to each client. Each member of the collective brings a unique blend of strengths and knowledge, drawing together the precise constellation of experience, skill, and cultural fluency the work demands.

Regional Roots
We come from Africa, Latin America and the SWANA region and carry experience from working in more than fifteen countries around the world. We don't parachute in, but bring deep contextual knowledge, local understanding and genuine relationships to every engagement.
Passion as practise
What brought us together was not a business plan - it was passion. We care deeply about what we do and how we do it. Working collaboratively across our differences, we produce work that is multi-perspectival, grounded in lived experience and is responsive to shifting contexts.
Thematic Range
Our work spans Sexual and Reproductive Health and Justice, Digital Rights, Human Rights, Sexuality, and Inclusion and Belonging. We believe that the most generative solutions to complex problems live at the intersection of disciplines. Our team brings together expertise in clinical psychology, law reform and gender justice, alongside a long collective history of working with civil society organisations and international NGOs.
